Inclusive Careers: In Conversation with… Martin Prendergast

This event is being hosted in collaboration with Warwick PLAN, you'll have the chance to hear from Martin and ask questions about the challenges and successes of his career journey as an LGBTQUIA+ professional in the arts and cultural sector. Personal Development Programme for Women

We're looking for female students to join an exciting pilot where we are trialling new content at 12 different workshops in May 2023. The workshops will take place in Oculus between Tuesday 16 May - Thursday 25 May. Workshops will last around 1.5-2 hours and you can attend as many as you want to. The space will offer you the opportunity to overcome self-doubt and build resilience, and earn core skills points towards the Warwick Award. Students taking part need to identify as a woman or as a non-binary person who's comfortable in a female-centred community. Bookings are now open.

Human Library Event

Warwick Library is looking for volunteers who've experienced prejudice to share their experiences to help break down stigmas. Sign up to become a Human Book for our Human Library event on Monday 26 June from 1pm-4pm. Please register your interest here, and if you have any questions or would like any further information, head to the website, or email humanlibrary@warwick.ac.uk.

Outstanding Student Contribution Awards

The OSCAs recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of final-year students who find time alongside study to campaign for good causes, fundraise, start a small business, and work with local charities! If this sounds like someone you know, nominations close Sunday 14 May!

Wellbeing: Boosting low mood

This term is always busy with exams, deadlines, and dissertations. It can take a toll on your mental health, so we want to bring attention to looking after yourself. There are times when our mood fluctuates, and this is a natural response to difficult circumstances. We all need to prioritise our health; both physical and mental. If you feel as though you need some tips on managing low mood, then please register for our next Steps to Wellbeing session on Thursday 11 May, 10am-11am. Registrations close at midnight on Wednesday 10 May.

Breathwork Workshop

Join us, in collaboration with Disability Services, Warwick Sport, and Sapranah, to learn about how to use breathing techniques to benefit both your physical and mental wellbeing. Book your free place for the workshop on Thursday 11 May at 10am, 12pm and 2pm in the Sports and Wellness Hub.
