Support Fund

The PGR Hardship Support Fund provides funding to students who are experiencing unforeseen exceptional circumstances during their studies. As Postgraduate Research students, you are eligible to submit an application for funding at any point during your registration period, including during a period of temporary withdrawal.

Wellbeing and
Student Support

If you need some extra support, make sure to utilise the Wellbeing and Student Support services. Access helpful resources or have a consultation (online or face-to-face) with an adviser via the Wellbeing Portal. You can also access 24/7 online support, advice and resources from Togetherall

Cumberland Lodge International PGR Christmas Conference

The Doctoral College invites applications from PhD students for two fully funded places at the Commonwealth and International Student Christmas Conference, on 18 - 20 December. See details on the conference and how to apply

 

Staff and Student Liaison Committee (SSLC) Chairs meeting 

We would like to invite PGR SSLC chairs to the online termly meeting on 1 November. This is a meeting with the Academic Director of the Doctoral College, Professor Dan Branch, and members of the Doctoral College team. These termly meetings are a good opportunity to meet with other SSLC chairs from different departments to discuss your PGR experience. Sign up here
