Welcome to the October Education Bulletin, Student

Through these monthly emails, we'll round up news, views and resources on all things education policy and quality in one place - covering work underway to support great education and what's coming up.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on previous editions - please feel free to let us know if you have any feedback this month, we would love to hear your thoughts.

Academic Integrity Celebration Week (20-24 November)

Coming up in November is a week of events to showcase best practice, share resources, explore the role of academic integrity, promote student understanding and dialogue, and provide a forum to discuss academic integrity and to offer support and guidance.

Competition: Championing Academic Integrity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

We would like your support with encouraging students to enter our competition on the theme of 'championing academic integrity in the age of Artificial Intelligence'. It's a great opportunity for students to show their creativity and have their work showcased during Academic Integrity Celebration Week (20-24 November). 

The winnners and runners-up will be selected by Coventry University's Academic Manager for Student Experience, Irene Glendinning, and will win Amazon vouchers worth £100, £50 or £25 (x2). 

Please encourage students to visit the Celebrating Academic Integrity website and enter the competition before 13 November

Last month, alongside the announcement of our TEF Gold award, we shared our Education Excellence showcase, highlighting just some of the brilliant work in teaching and learning at Warwick. In this edition, we're sharing the stories of two of our students and the research they undertook during their time at Warwick.

Assessment Briefings and Board of Examiners Membership

Find information on notifying us of changes to the membership of Boards of Examiners for meetings taking place in term 1, and upcoming briefings on PGT Board of Examiners and Academic Integrity.

Education Administrators Forum

The next Education Administrators Forum will take place online on Thursday 16 November, from 11am-12pm. The agenda will cover the new Code of Practice for Disabled Students, AI and Academic Integrity, industrial action, and the Institutional Teaching and Learning Review. Invites will be sent out soon.
