Global Opportunities Showcase
Are you interested in working, studying or volunteering abroad? Come along to the Global Opportunities Showcase on 15 November, 1-4pm in the Rootes Restaurant, and talk to teams offering these opportunities. In the same week as World Kindness Day and International Students’ Day, explore the diverse global opportunities we offer to our home and international students. There will also be activities, games, cupcakes and a prize draw.
Paid public/community engagement summer internships
The Warwick Institute of Engagement (WIE) pays for student internships in organisations in the West Midlands, so that you can gain experience of public and community engagement. Last year, internships ran at museums and galleries in Coventry, an arts charity, a community organising charity, and the Warwick Arts Centre. Read about the experiences of 2023 interns and sign up to our mailing list to be told when adverts for the 2024 internships go live. Internships typically take place in July and August.
Sustainability Challenge
This autumn term, we will be running a Sustainability Challenge on the theme of Food and Drink, asking students to work together to design original and creative solutions to problems with food supply, production, consumption, and waste across our university community. Find out more and sign up before 17 November.
