The final week of term has arrived, and we hope you are looking forward to a well-deserved break. If you're sticking around campus this December and early January, check out all that's happening and the opening hours for services on campus below. The IATL team have some exciting opportunities for you to get involved in, from funded projects to Co-Creation Officer job opportunities. We also have some tips from your Student Funding team about travelling home for the holidays.

If you’re staying around campus this festive season, find key information about what will be open on campus, including opening hours for community support and services, food and drink outlets, the Sports and Wellness Hub and Warwick Arts Centre.

If you’re looking for a cost-effective way to stay active during December and throughout 2024, make the most of the Warwick Sport winter sale. Our Report and Support platform was established so people could report incidents to us and receive any specialist support they needed. We have published our third annual report, which provides a transparent overview on the number and types of incidents, and what is being done to address misconduct.

For those of you taking examinations in January, good luck with your preparations. When sitting face-to-face exams, please remember that not all exams start/finish at the same time, so a gentle reminder to respect fellow students in keeping down the noise level when entering/leaving the exam hall. Apply for a funded research or performance project

The Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) is now inviting applications for funded research or performance projects by 12pm on 31 January 2024. Students at any level of study can apply for up to £1,500. Research proposals can address any field or area, including interdisciplinary topics, and we encourage co-creation within student-led projects. Find out more, view examples and ideas, and apply today.

Help to improve bus travel around campus

As part of the Students’ Union’s Better Buses campaign, they’ll be talking to Stagecoach and National Express to push for an improved service that works for you. Complete the survey today if you use buses to travel to or from campus.

Job opportunity: IATL Co-Creation Officers

The Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning (IATL) team is seeking two current students to join the department as a Co-Creation Officer. You will contribute to building a community with students and colleagues, promoting our work by highlighting IATL and its activities at module fairs and other events, and through social media. Apply by 17 December.
