Welcome to the January Education Bulletin, Student

Through these monthly emails, we round up news, views and resources on all things education policy and quality in one place - covering work underway to support great education and what's coming up.

Education and Student Experience Strategy

Ahead Together: Co-Creating our 2030 Education and Student Experience Strategy

You're invited to help kickstart the development of our new Education and Student Experience Strategy, by attending an interactive and innovative conference on 29 February. At the event a series of keynotes and workshops will connect our learning from activity in 2022/23, including the Institutional Teaching and Learning Review, to the new strategy. Places are limited, so register to attend today.

 

Academic Governance Review

Consultation - Green Paper

The findings of the first stage of the University's Academic Governance Review are now available, drawn together into a Green Paper. We are now sharing this with the University community for discussion, challenge and shaping through Term Two. 


Institutional Teaching and Learning Review

Significant ITLR outputs coming soon

We will shortly be publishing a range of outputs from the Institutional Teaching and Learning Review (ITLR). These will include panel reports, the full ITLR outcomes report, and conference to help kickstart the development of our new Education and Student Experience Strategy. 
 

National Student Survey

National Student Survey (NSS) launches at Warwick on 8 February

The NSS opens for Warwick students on Monday 8 February and runs to 30 April 2024. Find out more about the questions students will be asked this year, and the support and resources available to you as you deliver and promote the survey in your department.

As we start a new term, this is an opportunity to recognise the significant milestones that we have passed in clearing the MAB backlog, as well as looking ahead to the next phase of MAB recovery work.

Professional, Statutory and Regulatory Bodies (PSRBs) - resources now available

Resources have now been developed to support you to understand what is required centrally for PSRB activity. Read more about the resources and access them on the PSRB webpages here.
 

Now recruiting - Head of Curriculum Management

EPQ are currently recruiting for a brand new role, which will be responsible for establishing and leading Warwick's Curriculum Management function. The role will have oversight of the services and processes that make up Curriculum Management, including responsibility for the data, systems and technology underpinning it.The closing date for applications is 4 February - find out more about the role and apply here.


Education Administrators' Forum - term two

The next Education Administrators' Forum will take place on Tuesday 19 March 3-4:30pm. This meeting will be in-person, and will cover ITLR outcomes and the new Education and Student Experience Strategy. Invites will be sent out shortly, but please save the date in your calendars - if you would like to be added to the mailing list, let us know by replying to this email.
