Warwick Presents takeover
Warwick Presents are back to take over your weekly newsletter! We had so much fun with you all in Term 1… We ran from zombies, celebrated Dia de Los Muertos, battled it out for the greatest cover song and switched on the Christmas lights. Keep reading to find out what’s coming up this term.

You may have noticed our website has had a bit of a makeover, and all of our events are also now listed in the MyWarwick app.
Alongside events that are organised or supported by our team, you’ll also find activities from across the University, the SU and societies. We want to make it easy for you to discover everything that’s going on at Warwick in one place.
If you organise extra-curricular events, we’d love to add them to the calendar.

Friday 2 – Sunday 4 February
The clock starts ticking from 6pm on 2 February, when teams will have just 24 hours to write, shoot and edit a 3 minute, 30 second short film, using only their guile, wit and probably a smartphone. On 4 February, our judging panel will name their winners, and we'll reveal all at a special prize screening on campus, hosted by the Warwick Student Cinema. Sign up by 31 January!

Friday 9 February
The Lunar New Year is celebrated in many parts of the world by various names. Known as the Spring Festival in China, Seollal in Korea, and Tet in Vietnam (among others), it celebrates the start of the new year according to the Chinese Zodiac. 2024 is the year of the Dragon. Join us for a chance to share this celebration with traditional crafts, games, and authentic snacks.

Wednesday 14 February
How about playing Cupid this Valentine’s Day? No, not matchmaking, but shooting arrows! Join us for some fun foam archery (toga wearing is optional). Facilitated by Discover Archery, this event has no strings attached, so just pop in and have a go.

Wednesday 21 February
Come along and decorate your own tote bag to celebrate International Mother Language Day. We can’t wait to share the beauty and variety of languages around campus! You’ll get to take your tote bag home with you, which is great for carrying books back to the Library.

Wednesday 13 March
We’re rounding off the term with some good old fashioned (and modern) board games. Fancy yourself an expert at Articulate? Always beat the banker at Monopoly? Beginners are welcome too! Pop along and see if we have the perfect game for you.

And the fun doesn't stop there...
We’ll be adding more events to the Warwick Presents calendar throughout the term, so keep an eye on our website and the MyWarwick app for updates.
If you’re not feeling the spark for anything we have planned and have a great idea for an event, let us know. You can pop an idea in our suggestions box and who knows, you might see it in the line-up next term!
