Hello Jemima

Following the latest Government announcement on the roadmap, we are sharing an update on what this means for you. The guidance remains that PGR students can continue in-person research activities if the research cannot reasonably be conducted from home.

In line with Government guidance, by the start of term 3, there will be a Warwick Presents programme, we’ll share details closer to the start of term. Dwell spaces, the library and study spaces are open to you, and retail, cafes and sport facilities will be open again.

If you are returning to campus, you will need to take a lateral flow test before you travel, and book lateral flow tests at our site on campus on your return. The latest Government guidance is that students returning to campus should be tested three times (3-4 days apart) at the University asymptomatic testing site. You should then take twice-weekly lateral flow tests until we receive guidance to stop. For more information, read our FAQ about lateral flow testing. Home testing kits should also be available to universities to provide to students from May.

As always, if you need support, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Wellbeing Support Services whether you are on campus or away.

We have added FAQs on the Easter vacation and Term 3 page and will continue to update this page with the latest guidance.

Best wishes,
Warwick Student Communications Team
