Reflecting on the Covid-19 Crisis

Lighting a candle can be a really helpful practice for prayer, meditation, personal reflection, or to make space to remember a loved one. As we're not able to light real candles in campus accommodation, the Chaplaincy has made LED candles and holders available in their foyer. You're welcome to collect one for your own use, whatever your personal faith or spirituality. The Chaplaincy is open between 10 am and 4 pm Monday to Friday.

Campus and Community

Guidance on social mixing for on-campus and off-campus accommodation

With the Government confirming further lifting of Covid-19 restrictions in the UK from 17 May we are sharing the latest guidance on social mixing for on-campus and off-campus accommodation.

With summer exams beginning from Monday 17 May, we know that many of you will be taking online exams from your study bedroom. If you live on campus, there will be some additional restrictions in place to minimise disruption to others in shared accommodation spaces. If you live off-campus, you might like to have a conversation with your housemates about how you're going to manage the exam period. Make sure you read the updated guidance.

West Midlands Bus on Demand

As part of our transport and mobility strategy to provide you with a wider range of sustainable travel options, and in partnership with Transport for West Midlands, we have launched an exciting new service called the 'West Midlands Bus on Demand'. The introductory offer has now been extended and all journeys are free of charge until Friday 21 May.

Bikes

All bikes stored in bike shelters on campus will be tagged w/c 28 June by the Estates Team, if you've had to leave your bike on campus and cannot return to collect it before this date please complete the abandoned bike form. If you're using your bike on campus and it's tagged please remove the tag and leave it on the bike rack for collection. All bikes that remain tagged in the w/c 5 July will be removed from campus.
