Hello Student,

Welcome to this week's newsletter. Read on to find out more about our joint statement from Protect Warwick Women and University of Warwick, as well as this week's Wellbeing Support theme around Sleep, the online Campus Pride, SU's Liberation Conference and many more opportunities and events.

As we prepare for Clearing 2021, why not share a video of your own Clearing experience to reassure and support incoming students? And as a thank you, we'll supply a £20 Amazon voucher for each video used.

Joint Statement from Protect Warwick Women and University of Warwick

Following constructive and in-depth mediated discussions between the University of Warwick and Protect Warwick Women a positive and mutually acceptable conclusion to the protest has been reached. We will continue to work collaboratively through the established channels.

Wellbeing

Wellbeing Support - Sleep Better

Sleep is the cornerstone of good wellbeing and a lack of sleep can adversely affect the way we feel and function in our everyday lives.
Find out more about this week's wellbeing theme and the range of support options available.

Consent Collective- Live Demo

Join us on Wednesday 16 June at 2 pm to watch an online live demo of Consent Collective TV; a potential new, online resource for the Warwick community, which focuses on consent and healthy relationships. The Report and Support Team would like for as many members of the community to attend and provide honest feedback on Consent Collective TV, before deciding whether to invest in this new resource.

Campus and Community

Say My Name Survey

Respectful interactions start with getting each other’s names right, but this is not always easy. Take the anonymous Say My Name survey (about 5 minutes) and help us understand better the barriers to everyday interactions surrounding our names, especially in teaching and learning.

Campus Pride

Join the digital celebration and get involved in a variety of events recognising LGBTQ+ history, people and culture across the UK.

Warwick Voices Podcast: Engaging in a City of Culture

In this episode we catch up with Professor Michael Scott and Professor Helen Wheatley to chat all about engagement at Warwick, how it ties in with the City of Culture and our very own Resonate Festival - a 12-month programme of inspiring and interactive events for all ages to spark ideas, curiosity and creativity.

Warwick Volunteers: Summer Walk

Explore the beautiful countryside surrounding the University of Warwick. Friends of Canley Green Spaces will be leading a five-mile guided walk from the central campus that visits Kenilworth Greenway and Crackley Woods.
Sign up and join us on Saturday 12 June.
