Welcome to your Summer Vacation newsletter! Read on to find out more about events, news and opportunities. Our highlights include the reopening of Warwick Arts Centre and celebrating our community members who were selected for TeamGB in the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Summer is a great time of the year to reflect and celebrate our community's achievements; read on to find out more about the OSCA winners for 2021, academics who were made Fellows of the British Academy, and National Teaching Fellows, and the Law student honoured with the prestigious Diana Award.
A reminder that you can now book a Covid-19 vaccination whether you’re registered with a GP or not. You can book a second dose in a different location through the National Booking Service if you're travelling round the country (or hoping to get the second dose when you're back at Warwick) - and you can even re-book if you do change location. Find out more.
And finally, a reminder to stay alert to scams targeting students during the summer vacation, with callers pretending to be from legitimate organisation such as the British Consulate, the Home Office, UKCISA or even the police, to demand information or money. In reality, these organisations will never request money or ask for personal details in this way. Read more on how to recognise, report and avoid scams like this and read our Stay Safe tips.
