Hi everyone, welcome back to your fortnightly newsletter. There is lots happening for you to get involved with to brighten up your January!

Building Wellbeing Literacy

PhD students and researchers at Warwick are invited to join Wellbeing Literacy Listening Workshops to help shape online resources tailored to your needs. Participate in-person or online and receive a £20 voucher. There are only 30 places available - register here.

PGR Neurodiversity Network

Join us for the first PGR Neurodiversity Network event on 12 February, 12-2pm in Ramphal Building R0.04. Connect with neurodivergent peers, enjoy refreshments, and help shape future sessions. Priority is reserved for neurodivergent PGRs. Book your place here.

Become a recycling hero

Help us reduce the volume of items going into general waste, by recycling in residences and on-campus. The Recycling Hero campaign aims to significantly reduce the number of items going to general waste and achieve a 10% reduction in general waste by June 2025 by increased recycling for: dry mixed recycling (DMR), glass, cardboard and food waste. Spring SU Officer Elections 2025: nominations now open!


Your Students’ Union is student-led. We put you in charge of deciding, and becoming, your future student leaders. Why not nominate yourself or a friend for a full-time or part-time Student Officer position including a full-time Postgraduate Officer role? It only takes a few minutes. Nominations close at 12.00pm midday on 11 February. Check out the roles available here.

Lunar New Year’s Eve Celebrations

Tuesday 28 January

Join us as we welcome the Chinese Year of the Snake with a day of vibrant celebrations. Experience the energy of the Lion Dance Finale on the Piazza, unleash your creativity with calligraphy workshops and lucky crafts, and pin your hopes for the new year on the Wishing Tree. Be sure to stop by the Celebratory Snack Buffet to enjoy free dumplings and other delicious treats. With games, activities, and plenty of festive spirit, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
