Hello Student,

Warwick Presents Takeover

It’s the Warwick Presents team here again, taking over your student newsletter. We hope Term 2 is off to a flying start for you all. We want to firstly say a massive thank you to everyone who turned up and turned it out at one of our events last term – the dazzling Global Light Procession was our highlight of Global Celebrations Week, we loved seeing you dancing at our Diwali celebration, dialect-hopping at our Language Exchange Tables, and crafting your way to festive icon status at our Christmas Crafts event! Keep reading to find out how you can get involved in Term 2...

Latest news and updates

You may already know we’re running a consultation project this year called The Big Ask – inviting you to redesign the Warwick Presents programme with us for 2025/26. We want to send a big thank you to everyone who joined us at a focus group last term, we really loved hearing your feedback and we’re using it to shape a survey which we’re planning to launch in Week 5. We want to hear from as many of you as possible, so you’ll be seeing us out and about around campus inviting you to take part.

We’re running this project to make sure that the extra-curricular activities that we run ourselves, or fund through our collaborators, are the ones that appeal most to you – it’s a real opportunity to have your say and shape your own student experience here at Warwick.

Welcome to our new Student Reps

Manasa and Navya have joined the Warwick Presents team this term, as our part-time Student Reps.

Speech mark left We first experienced the magic of Warwick Presents when we stepped onto campus during Welcome Week. With a plethora of activities to get involved in, our transition to Warwick from an entirely different continent felt seamless, and before long, it became our home away from home. Now, from the other side of it, as Warwick Presents Student Reps, we’re thrilled to work behind the scenes, adding a student voice element and paying that experience forward.

This year promises plenty of exciting events, from The Big Ask to the Lunar New Year celebrations. You’ll spot us around campus in our signature purple hoodies—don’t hesitate to say hi or ask us any questions! Help us make Warwick, YOUR Warwick! Speech mark right

And the fun doesn’t stop there…

As always, we’re updating our calendar every week, so keep an eye on our website for updates. Remember, if you’re planning an event or activity open to all students and want to see it on our Warwick Presents calendar, submit your content!

We hope to see you very soon!

Best wishes,
The Warwick Presents Team
