New PGR students are invited to join our online welcome session on 27 February at 6pm. Get useful information, ask questions, and connect with your peers. It’s a great opportunity to start your PGR journey with plenty of support and new connections. Register your place.

We’re hosting ‘Publishing Strategically’ workshops on 20 February, 2-3:30pm, in the Wolfson Research Exchange and online. Explore the changing publication process, open access, and how to select the right journal for your research. You’ll learn about evaluating journals, publication models, and peer review, with a focus on STEM. Sign up here.

Warwick PhD students can receive £3,000 through the Monash Warwick Alliance PhD Travel Grant to expand research connections. Apply by 28 April. Read more information on eligibility and how to apply.
PGRs across the University are invited to apply to an interdisciplinary competition, ‘Me, Myself and AI’, with a total prize of £1,000 to be awarded to the winning team. The competition explores Artificial Intelligence’s effects on business, manufacturing and innovation. Collaborate with PGRs from other departments or disciplines, and have your work celebrated at our annual Business, Manufacturing and Innovation Spotlight event in Term 3. Express your interest by 27 February.
Take a 10-minute survey on social eating habits to help develop the ConnectEat app, designed to enhance student wellbeing. All participants will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 shopping voucher. Enter here.

WAPTE enables members of the Warwick community to recognise staff who have made an outstanding contribution to support students through the University's personal tutoring system. In addition, we are calling for students to serve on judging panels for the awards to recognise staff. Nominations are closing tomorrow, on 7 February. Academic Integrity Celebration Month is taking place throughout February 2025. This year, we're focusing on professional integrity and taking your university skills into professional life. There are plenty of events, activities and opportunities happening across the University. Here’s how you can get involved:
- Enter the creative competition on the theme of professional integrity in the workplace by 27 February and you could win up to £100! Once you’ve entered, you can make your entry count towards the Warwick Award.
- Visit our pop-up events this month, including the SU stand in your department and Library drop-ins, in collaboration with the Warwick Award - pick up some freebies and get some tips and advice on academic integrity, a key skill for university and your career.
- Access useful advice and resources about academic and professional integrity on the webpage and develop skills that can count towards your Warwick Award.
