Hello Student
We hope you’re enjoying the last few weeks of your summer break. Today, we’re getting in touch with some exciting news, and to thank you again for your feedback and contribution throughout the past year.
We’re really pleased to share with you that the University of Warwick has been recognised as the best university in the UK for teaching quality by The Good University Guide, the internationally respected British university rankings guide published by The Sunday Times. We were also recognised as runner up University of the Year and have been ranked 6th in the UK by the Guardian University Guide 2022.
These amazing results reflect the passion, talent, and work ethic of the whole Warwick community, so we’d like to say a big thank you to you all. Thousands of you have shared your views this year, through University surveys, the National Student Survey, student research panels and more. We’re hugely grateful for all your feedback - knowing what’s gone well and what we can improve, has helped us to shape what your experience will be like this coming year.
We know that it hasn’t been an easy year for you or our teachers, and we are so proud that these results recognise not only the effort put in by staff to help you to thrive, but also your resilience as you embraced the new experience of blended learning and socially distanced campus life.
I am looking forward to us being back together on campus again, after so long! The new academic year will, thanks to your insight, see us keeping you better connected to Warwick and to each other. As you continue with blended learning, we hope we can keep improving your experience. We will see campus come to life again, with Warwick Presents events and food markets, and we can explore new spaces like the IBRB, the Warwick Arts Centre and the Faculty of Arts Building.
We know there’s always more we can do, but it’s important to reflect on the positive, and these awards give us a good opportunity to look back at the achievements of our community, and to look forward with excitement to the academic year ahead.
Best wishes,

Professor Stuart Croft
Vice-Chancellor and President of the University of Warwick
