Hello Student,

Welcome to the last summer vacation newsletter. Read on to find more events, opportunities and news from the best university in the UK for teaching!

Thank you to all who completed our Covid-19 vaccination survey to help us to plan for the new term. A
s we look to keep our community safe in the coming months, we were pleased to see high levels of vaccine uptake among respondents. For those that haven’t had either vaccine, you’ll be able to use our vaccination centre which opens tomorrow, 25 September. See how to get an appointment. Get a test on campus. Find out more about getting support if you're self isolating.

As we start the new year, we'd like to remind you that face coverings are a really vital part of our community effort to keep safe on campus. We all have a responsibility to protect both ourselves and others, so please do wear a face covering when you are moving around crowded or enclosed spaces, and when you are in learning, teaching, research and non-library managed study spaces.
Find out more about guidance for face coverings.

Research, Learning and Teaching

Warwick is best in the UK for teaching quality

The University of Warwick has been recognised as the best university in the UK for teaching quality by The Sunday Times' Good University Guide. We were also recognised as runner up University of the Year. The news follows the Guardian University Guide 2022 placing Warwick 6th in the UK, a rise of two places, and Times Higher Education placing Warwick 78th in the world.

These fantastic results follow on from positive National Student Survey (NSS) results earlier in the year. We are so proud that these results recognise not only the effort put in by staff to help you to thrive but also your resilience as you embraced new challenges.

Blended learning experience

On 4 October we'll welcome you safely into an outstanding, campus-based, blended learning experience and and enable you to make the most of student life beyond your studies. Find out more.

Let's keep the dialogue going

Your feedback and the hard work, passion and commitment of our whole Warwick community have helped us achieve these awards and informed our learning experience. We’ve summarised some of your feedback from last year, and what we’re planning to do to keep improving your experience:
