This week is your final opportunity to nominate a student for an Outstanding Student Contribution Award (OSCA). The Awards recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of Warwick's students who not only excel academically, but also find the time to campaign for good causes, fundraise, start small businesses, and work with local charities. Make your nomination by 8pm on Sunday, 11 May.
We are developing an AI Toolkit for the Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences and we’re looking for your input to help shape its student-focused content. The Global Illuminations Procession takes place in November this year. To mark Warwick’s 60th anniversary celebrations, we’ll be processing through campus with lanterns and large props to represent our diverse community.
You can expect bright colours, music, dance and some surprises in store! Last term, we collaborated on creating a giant snake to honour the Chinese Year of the Snake, as well as an enormous macaw to represent South America. We’ve kickstarted Term 3 with two prop-making workshops so far – collaborative body sculptures with Natalie Zervou-Kerruish and an incredible tiger in collaboration with Warwick India Forum.
If you’ve got an idea for a prop that would represent you, or you want to check out the workshops we’ve got coming up, head to our website.
