We are deeply sorry for the pain and upset caused by the recent draft version of our Trans Inclusion Code of Conduct, which was inadvertently published in error. In light of the Equality and Human Rights Commission Interim Guidance and legal developments we are continuing to review our policy.
We recognise that recent developments from the Supreme Court and the Office for Students’ decision about the University of Sussex have caused considerable concern for many members of our community. Warwick remains committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful and supportive community for everyone – read an update and FAQs.

Have you signed up for our focus groups yet? Following on from the Postgraduate Research Experience Feedback survey (PREF), we would like to delve into the survey results to gain a deeper understanding of your responses so that we can make improvements in key areas. Your contributions will be anonymised and refreshments will be provided. The focus groups (some online and some in-person) will take place on 7, 9, 14 and 16 July. Please sign up on our website.
We’re pleased to announce that Warwick’s new Interdisciplinary Research Directory is ready to use. The Directory is an internal resource designed to support interdisciplinary research across the University. It offers a simple way to share your work and connect with colleagues in other departments and faculties. Thank you to everyone who has already expressed interest, including those who took part in the Research Spotlights survey earlier this year. Sign up to be listed in the Directory and start building new connections across disciplines.
Emmanuel is looking for international postgraduate students from Africa to participate in a film study exploring how African students navigate higher education in the UK. The project focuses on themes such as identity, belonging, community-building, and the formation of diasporic identities while studying abroad. If this is something you’d be interested in, or if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch by email.

A blog by Junjie, MA student

“I’m still buzzing from an amazing VR adventure I had a few days ago - In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats. It threw me right into the heart of the 1989 Acid House rave culture. Even better, this incredible experience is coming to Warwick Arts Centre later this year…”
In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats is coming to Warwick Arts Centre between 29 September - 13 October 2025. Secure your discounted student ticket for just £10 using the code: UOW10RB.
