Learning, teaching and research

The Library - discover brand new study spaces!

Directly inspired by your feedback, the Library's fantastic £4m refurbishment project has made room for 200 extra study spaces during peak times. Spaces have also diversified to support a variety of student needs and new ways of studying. Read more about the new seating, lighting and efficient desk arrangement as well as new zones for wellbeing, co-creation and revision.

Study spaces on campus

Around campus there are other library-managed study spaces and learning grids to choose from. There are also plenty of alternative social study spaces such as the Rootes Flexi Grid, the Science Concourse and the Oculus building. The Warwick Arts Centre also has space for quiet or social study, and there will be new spaces once the Faculty of Arts building opens later in the term.

Academic Support Librarians

Academic support librarians are subject specialists who provide expert advice to help you carry out research for your assignments, projects and theses. You can arrange a one to one appointment for help with literature searching, more information on available resources and advice on plagiarism and referencing.

SU Autumn election results

Thank you to those who voted in the SU’s Autumn Elections, and congratulations to those elected! See who's been elected as your Faculty and Academic Department Rep as well as Part-Time Officers and SU Committees and Associations.

Wellbeing

Study and wellbeing

Wellbeing is an important factor in cultivating a healthy approach to study, and our Wellbeing Support Service has a catalogue of self-help resources to help with issues such as procrastination, perfectionism and motivation. More specific resources on time management, managing deadlines and managing stress may be helpful too. And remember that it's always beneficial to take time out for relaxation.
