When can I start working full-time?
You can begin full-time work once your official course end date has passed, and you've completed all academic requirements. In some cases, you may be able to start up to four weeks earlier if your department confirms to the Student Visa Advice Service that all submissions are complete. Find more information here.
When can I apply for the Graduate Route visa?
You must not make a Graduate Route visa application until you have received an email from the University confirming you can apply, as well as having met the other application requirements. This usually takes place a few days after your degree is formally awarded by the University, and for most PGT students, it will be by mid-December. Read our FAQs on this page.
