Sustainability Awards

Each year, the Green Gown Awards celebrate the exceptional sustainability initiatives by universities. We're pleased to share that Warwick was a finalist in three categories, emphasising our commitment to building a more sustainable future, including through our curriculum. We were recognised for our The Way to Sustainable project, the work of frontline key workers to help charities reduce waste during lockdown and our investment in collaboration, teaching and research through the IBRB building.

In other news, WBS has been ranked number one in the UK for sustainability

Safety during the winter months

Now the nights are darker, keep yourself and your valuables safe with tips from our Community Safety team. Always lock your room door on campus, or the front and rear doors of off-campus accommodation, even when there is someone at home. Don't leave valuables lying around and never leave your home unlocked even if you're only leaving it for a short period of time. Avoid isolated places, especially at night and stick to well-lit and overlooked routes, wherever possible. Find out more.

Applying to live on campus next year

If you're a UG student who will be in your final year next year, a part-year student on the Venice programme or you're supported through accommodation requirements, you can apply now to live on campus next year. Applications close on Wednesday 24 November.
