All you need to know about examination and assessments in Term 3

We've created a mini-site to bring together all you need to know about assessment and exams in April, May and June. Find answers to your FAQs about sitting exams (whether they're online or in person), get details of how you can access support if you have mitigating circumstances, read student blogs and resources to help you prepare for your assessments, and check out wellbeing advice and mental health support opportunities. Visit the exams and assessment mini-site.

Checking your data

If you are taking exams in the summer, check your assessment registration data in Tabula. If you spot any errors in your assessment registrations (i.e. you believe the assessment method shown does not reflect what you registered for earlier in the year) you should contact your department after the Easter break and let them know. They will either resolve directly, or liaise with the Examinations Team on your behalf to resolve any issues prior to the publication of the timetable.

Mock exams on the Alternative Exams Portal (AEP)

There will be a number of centrally-organised mock exams in the AEP to help you to familiarise yourself with the portal and how it works before using it for your exams. The central mock exams are not subject-based and very general in nature. Feedback from students suggests that taking the mocks helps reduce anxiety and concern around using the AEP. See below for details about when the Central Mock Exams will be running for each exam period.

Exams and assessments - in person and online

Examinations and assessments will be held both online and in person in April, May and June. If you've not experienced an in-person examination at Warwick yet, you can find information and guidance for taking an in-person exam or assessment here.
The FAQs for online exams and assessments include some short videos which give an overview of using the Alternative Exams Portal. They can be found under the FAQ – ‘How do I take my assessment on the Alternative Exams Portal (AEP)’:

Student news updates

COVID-19 Testing service
In accordance with its Living with COVID-19 strategy, the Government has now stopped the Test and Trace Programmes so we can no longer offer this on campus, nor are we allowed to distribute lateral flow tests as from end of March. If you feel unwell, we recommend you stay at home and let your Personal Tutor know (or contact your department Senior Tutor if you're unable to reach your Personal Tutor). Find more guidance.

Outstanding Student Contribution Awards (OSCAs)
Celebrate final year students who have made outstanding contributions outside of their studies and nominate them for one of our prestigious awards. Submit your nominations by 15 May.

Your vote matters - register to vote in May 5 local elections
You have until 14 April (or 18 April in Scotland) to register to vote in the upcoming elections. You can register at your home address AND your term-time address, as long as you only vote in one election. Voting will take place on 5 May to elect councillors for Coventry City Council.

Best wishes,
