Wellbeing

Productivity and procrastination

Next up on our Steps to Wellbeing course is a focus on Productivity and procrastination. Procrastination occurs when we are wanting or trying to avoid or put off a task. This may be because we are feeling overwhelmed, because we don’t know where to start, because we fear failure or because we’re comparing ourselves to others. If getting started is something you're struggling with, you are not alone, and if it's something you’d like to work on, register by midnight tonight (Monday 2 May) and join on Tuesday 3 May for a 30 minute session, or register for a session on 9 June. Can't make the session? Check out these resources.

In-person exam venues

If you're taking in-person exams this summer term you can find a list of the venues across campus for centrally-timetabled exam sessions, and they'll appear on your timetable too. It's a good idea to locate your exam venue ahead of time using the campus map to ensure you know where to go.

Face-coverings at in-person exams

You’re strongly advised to continue wearing a face covering at in-person exams as well as teaching, learning and study spaces (unless you are unable to due to medical reasons or a disability).

Examination bag storage

We don't provide secure facilities for the storage of bags at examination venues - find out what you can bring to exams, as well as details of limited unsecure bag storage facilities available for summer exams this term.

Best wishes,
