Summer at the PG Hub - events and temporary relocation

PG Hub will be relocated to the Library Building from 4 July to 24 August as we prepare for some events on campus over the summer. Find more details about the move, summer events and study sessions! You can also check the live availability of key study spaces. The Library’s Community Engagement Team will continue to run PG Tips through the summer in the main library – this is a chance for PGs to take-a-break and meet our PG Mentors and other PGs, ask questions and discuss anything about life at Warwick - with drinks and snacks!

Learning, teaching, research and assessments

Congratulations to our excellent teachers and personal tutors!

Thank you to everyone who nominated our excellent teachers, postgraduate teachers and personal tutors for a Warwick Award for Teaching Excellence. Find out who's been recognised for making fantastic contributions to teaching, learning and support this year.

We spoke to one of our most recent postgraduate teacher WATE winners - meet Cherisse who shares insight into her passion for teaching!

End of year results and optional resits

A reminder that you can find out when your end of year results will be released depending on your year of study. If you have passed enough credits overall to progress to the next level of study or to graduate, but have failed one or more module, then you may be offered the opportunity to take an optional reassessment as a capped resit or an uncapped further first attempt (FFA) for those modules, if offered by your course examination board. Find out more, including how to opt in or out of optional reassessments, whether you're a finalist or non-finalist student.

Calling undergraduate researchers!

Please take 15 minutes to complete our survey into student experiences of undergraduate research and supervision at Warwick and enter into a prize draw to win one of two £50 LovetoShop vouchers as a thank you for your time. Your responses will be used to develop additional support for undergraduate research at Warwick.

Moodle upgrade and new look

Thank you to everyone who took part in focus groups to inform the development of Moodle. We'll be upgrading the look, accessibility and functionality over the summer break. The annual upgrade will take place on Tuesday 12 July meaning Moodle is likely to be offline from 7am for most of that day due to this essential development work. Find out more and stay up to date with the project.

Campus and Community

Summer celebrations - changes on campus

Stage one of the Commonwealth Athlete Village fence build is now complete, and you’ll see a section of fence along the path by Tocil Lakes and the Coach Park. The next phase begins Sunday 26 June with the installation along a section of Gibbet Hill Road on Cryfield Village Campus. The Health Centre will move to Westwood Campus from 14 July until mid-August. Learn more about the changes affecting some areas of campus, alternative cycle and walking paths, and changes to the location of the PG HUB and Amazon lockers. See the timeline for more information on activities occurring on campus.

Gender equality award

We've launched a new award to recognise individuals and teams who have contributed to the enhancement of gender equality at Warwick. If you’re doing something that addresses gender equality or know a member of staff or a student who is, you can nominate now before 30 September.

Travel survey - enter to win a £50 LoveToShop voucher!

A reminder that you can now take part in our travel survey to help us plan the future of transport – not just at Warwick but across the West Midlands and beyond. Take part and enter a prize draw to win 1 of 5 £50 LoveToShop e-vouchers!

Changes to the way we log-in

We're replacing our Web Sign-On with Microsoft’s Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) - which will improve our security and user-experience. This will mean a change to the way we log-in to University applications - find out more about what this means for you.

Best wishes,
