We’re really looking forward to welcoming you to campus soon for Warwick Celebrates! Read on to find out what you can expect on the day, and for details about arrival and seating times, parking, collecting your tickets and more.
On the day
When you arrive on campus, please make your way to the Sports and Wellness Hub (there will be purple signs directing the best routes from car parks). Here you will collect your tickets and robes, and have any booked official photos taken.
You and your guests with booked tickets can then make your way across the road to The Igloo, for a welcome and drinks reception, followed by the ceremony.
After the ceremony, you can enjoy refreshments, live music and other entertainment at our Festival Village on Windmill Hill! There will also be photo opportunities including with the ‘Warwick letters’.

Next week you will receive another copy of your confirmation email from Ede and Ravenscroft. Please double check your booking, including your ceremony date and time. |
Arrival and seating times
Plan your arrival using our key timings webpage. We kindly request that all graduates and guests are seated before the doors close. Doors will close promptly at 10:30am for the 11:00am ceremony, and at 2:30pm for the 3:00pm ceremony for both graduates and guests. Please be seated in The Igloo by the time the doors close. Once the ceremony has begun, the doors must remain shut.
You should allow time prior to the ceremony for any professional photos you wish to have taken on the day. Please also allow additional time for traffic, parking and walking to the Sports Hub if you are arriving by car. We recommend arriving a minimum of 90 minutes before your ceremony starts.

Parking and blue badge parking
The postcode for central campus where the ceremony will be held is CV4 8UW. On-campus parking (payable in advance) will be available for graduates and their guests attending Warwick Celebrates. Ticket information
You'll be able to collect your tickets from the Sports and Wellness Hub. Any guests who do not have entrance tickets for the ceremony will be able to watch from the big screen outside the Rootes building on the Piazza. Additionally, the ceremonies will be Live Streamed on our website for anyone not attending on the day.
Photography
The University's official photographers, Ede & Ravenscroft, will be based in the Sports and Wellness Hub to take any professional photographs you have booked and will also take a photo as you cross the stage in the ceremony. The photograph taken while you’re crossing the stage is the free formal photograph included with your ticket and will be available to collect after your ceremony at the Festival Village on Windmill Hill.
If you would like additional professional photographs and haven’t already booked, you can arrange this, along with payment, when you arrive on the day.
Dress code
As Warwick Celebrates is such a special and formal occasion, we ask you to dress smartly - find out more guidance on dress code. The Festival Village is a mix of undercover and outdoor space, please be mindful of this when considering footwear and outerwear (trainers are not permitted for the ceremony).
Covid-19 guidance
In line with NHS advice, we recommend that anyone with symptoms of Covid-19 or a positive test result does not attend the celebration. Please follow NHS advice.
