Summer at the PG Hub - events and temporary relocation
A reminder that the PG Hub has been relocated to the Library Building until 24 August as we host events and an Athletes Village for the Commonwealth Games! The Library’s Community Engagement Team is running PG Tips through the summer in the main library – this is a chance for you to take-a-break and meet our PG Mentors and other PGs, ask questions and discuss anything about life at Warwick - with drinks and snacks! You can also check the live availability of key study spaces over the summer.
Careers support and Graduate Outcomes survey
If you're finishing your studies soon, you'll be invited to respond to the Graduate Outcomes survey 15 months after your course. This national survey collects information on the activities and perspectives of graduates and the anonymous results can be invaluable in helping future students consider potential career options. To make sure we can get in touch to invite you to complete the survey, please keep your contact details up-to-date by visiting the University’s Student Records Online.
And if you don’t have any plans yet for after your course, visit the Careers website for resources and to talk to an adviser. You can access free careers support after you leave Warwick!
National Data Science and AI Showcase Poster Competition
Warwick is hosting the National Data Science and AI Showcase in collaboration with The Alan Turing Institute on 12 September 2022. Ahead of the event, we are inviting submissions of posters in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. New or current posters that have not yet been viewed by a national audience can be submitted. The posters will be exhibited and voted for by the visiting stakeholders, presenters and researchers. Find out more about the competition, how to enter and the prizes on offer!
Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies in the Workplace annual conference and call for papers
The Productivity and Futures of Work GRP is delighted to announce a new date for the annual GRP Conference, “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies in the Workplace”. Please register and confirm your place today for the conference on 16 September at the Scarman House Conference Centre. PhD students can also submit papers, abstracts, or proposals if you have an interest in digital technology or AI.
Wellbeing for postgraduate researchers
Our Postgraduate Research Masterclass provides you with a snapshot of strategies and tips that you can use to look after your wellbeing. The aim is to give you the tools you can use to reflect on your own experiences during, and after you have taken part. Our Steps to Wellbeing sessions are also running during July and August - register for Managing Stress and Anxiety and Productivity and Work Life Balance sessions. Remember that Wellbeing and Student Support remain open as usual throughout summer. Brief consultations are available every Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm and can be accessed via the Wellbeing Portal or by dropping into us during these hours on the ground floor of Senate House. Online support and advice are available to all Warwick students 24/7 from Togetherall.

Share your Clearing advice to earn a £20 Amazon voucher
We are currently looking for students who came to Warwick through Clearing to share their experience and advice in a short mobile phone video. The aim of the video will be to reassure students waiting for their A level results, and it will be shared on our social media channels. Take part and earn a £20 Amazon voucher for your time!
Accessing campus over summer
Learn more about the changes affecting some areas of campus this summer as we host a Commonwealth Games Althetes Village, including alternative cycle and walking paths, and changes to the location of the PG HUB, Health Centre and Amazon lockers. See the timeline for more information on activities occurring on campus.
Flip the script - 2 day on campus workshop
Take part in Flip the Script with EAAA, a programme created to empower young self-identified women to trust their judgement and overcome social pressures to be "nice" when their sexual integrity and bodily autonomy is threatened. The course runs over 24 and 25 August (9am - 5pm), lunch and snacks will be provided and participants will receive a certificate after attending both workshops. Find out more.
