Launch event of the Student Opportunity Hub
Come and attend the launch event of our Student Opportunity Hub this Thursday (3 November)! From 3pm-6pm on the ground floor of Senate House, there'll be free pizza and popcorn, a photo booth, a balloon modeller, and giant games! It's also the perfect opportunity to meet the Student Opportunity team and find out how they can support you.

Black History Month - SU events
Continuing with the Blackness, Imagination, Liberation event series in recognition of Black History Month, the SU is holding a final event this week! On Friday 4 November, you can attend the music event - Showcasing Warwick Black Creatives with black [untitled]: Music. It will be held from 6pm-9pm in The Copper Rooms.
Day of the Dead Celebration
Day of the Dead is a celebration of life and death that originated in Mexico. The Global Connections Community are hosting an event where you can remember a person you miss and make your paper Marigold that represents life's fragility. It's a great opportunity to meet new people. Come along and join in on Wednesday 2 November, 1:30pm-4pm.
Radical Landscapes is now open!
Attend this free exhibition at the Mead Gallery in Warwick Arts Centre. A surprising and inspiring view of the British landscape, exploring 100 years of art from post-war paintings to rural raves, anti-nuclear protests to the climate emergency. Discover over 100 artists exploring diverse relationships with rural spaces, questioning belonging, feminism, migration, and colonialism. It's open Tuesday-Sunday, 11am-8pm, up until Sunday 18 December. Find out more here.
“Molecular Fireworks” Microscopy Competition
Have you ever captured an image with a microscope that reminds you of fireworks? Send it to us for a chance to win a £50 voucher and have your work exhibited in community spaces. Submit your image alongside a short paragraph (less than 150 words) that explains what your picture shows to a member of the public to wie@warwick.ac.uk by Monday 7 November. Find out more. |
