AuthentiCity - a careers event for LGBTQ+ students
AuthentiCity, taking place on Thursday 10 November, is exclusively for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) university students. This virtual event is aimed at those with career aspirations in, or that just want to find out more about, Professional Services, Finance, Fund Management or Technology careers in the City. Warwick Institute of Engagement Workshops
Do you want to make a difference and develop your skills through public or community engagement? Warwick Institute of Engagement can help you. Come along to an information session to find out about doing your own public engagement project over the summer through the Undergraduate Research Support Scheme. Work with friends to run an interactive activity at a public event and earn Warwick Award points in the process. Attend a masterclass or check out our online development resources.
Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Festival back for 2022
Warwick Business School will be hosting another EDI Festival on Wednesday 9 November. There will be an engaging programme of events and activities across the day, which will be informative, interactive, and intellectually stimulating. Read more about the schedule here.
We Will Remember Them: Armistice Day

Two Truths in One Land: The Road to Reconciliation
In the context of our broader work around social inclusion and community values, we are hosting an event which is led by an organisation called Roots. The event on Tuesday 22 November, 12.30pm-2.00pm, will be an opportunity to hear from Roots' Israeli co-founder, Rabbi Hanan Schlesinger and Roots' activist Palestinian Noor A’wad. They will share their experiences and insights into how they started to build trust between communities and a shared purpose between two often deeply divided groups. Kindness on Campus Awards 2022
To celebrate World Kindness Day this Sunday, the Community Values Education Programme are running the Kindness on Campus Awards. Share your stories of acts of kindness and nominate a fellow student or staff member who you think deserves a Kindness on Campus award for the chance to win one of three £20 Love2Shop vouchers. Submit your nomination by 30 November 2022. Winners will be announced on 21 December 2022.
