Warwick Institute of Engagement Workshops

Do you want to make a difference and develop your skills through public or community engagement? Warwick Institute of Engagement can help you. Come along to an information session to find out about doing your own public engagement project over the summer through the Undergraduate Research Support Scheme. Work with friends to run an interactive activity at a public event and earn Warwick Award points in the process. Attend a masterclass or check out our online development resources.

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Festival back for 2022

Warwick Business School will be hosting another EDI Festival on Wednesday 9 November. There will be an engaging programme of events and activities across the day, which will be informative, interactive, and intellectually stimulating. Read more about the schedule here.

We Will Remember Them: Armistice Day

Join us on the Piazza from 10.30am on Friday 11 November for an act of remembrance this Armistice Day. A service will begin at 10:45am, and finish at 11:15am. Find out more and take a look at the Chaplaincy calendar for more events.

Two Truths in One Land: The Road to Reconciliation

In the context of our broader work around social inclusion and community values, we are hosting an event which is led by an organisation called Roots. The event on Tuesday 22 November, 12.30pm-2.00pm, will be an opportunity to hear from Roots' Israeli co-founder, Rabbi Hanan Schlesinger and Roots' activist Palestinian Noor A’wad. They will share their experiences and insights into how they started to build trust between communities and a shared purpose between two often deeply divided groups. Please register to attend this online event.

Sessions for studying abroad next academic year

The Student Mobility team are hosting sessions for students who are interested in a year abroad next academic year (23/24). Get an introduction to studying abroad and the application process in our session on Wednesday 9 November 1pm, or Tuesday 15 November 12pm. We are also hosting country specific in-person drop-in sessions in the Student Opportunity Hub in Senate House so you can speak to others interested in visiting particular countries.
