Stand Up Against Islamophobia - SU events

Stand Up Against Islamophobia is a series of events during Islamophobia Awareness Month, highlighting how Islamophobia manifests within our society and wider culture. The events range from speakers and panels to reading and poetry performances. At the end of the month, we will also hold a consultation forum about the barriers faced by Muslim students at Warwick. The next event will be this evening at 6pm in the Oculus, OC0.02, 'An evening with Suhaiymah Manzoor Khan'. Khan is a writer, poet and educator. Check out the rest of the events happening.

Thanksgiving Lunch & Thanksgiving Hangout (The Graduate)

The Global Connections Club would like to invite you to join our Thanksgiving Lunch and Hangout. On Thursday 24 November, the lunch will be at 2pm-3:30pm, and the hangout at 3:30pm-4pm. You can attend one or both! We want to offer a space and subsidised traditional Thanksgiving meal (£4.95) for anyone who is missing home or would like to learn about Thanksgiving. Booking is required in advance.

Trans Awareness Week events: 13 - 19 November

People and organisations around the country participate in Trans Awareness Week to help raise the visibility of trans people and address issues members of the community face. Warwick Pride is collaborating with the Queering University Programme and the SU Trans Officer to deliver a large variety of events, from allyship basics to socials for the community. Everyone is welcome to attend these events, except where explicitly noted! Please find the full events programme here.

Our new Meet the Professionals – Careers in Tech event!
