Hello Pgr

At Warwick, we really value your feedback. It is essential to hear your views so that we can keep moving forward and improve your experience. In today’s special edition, we’re sharing the different opportunities you’ll have this year to share your views and feedback, and shape your Warwick experience. In turn, throughout the year, we’ll let you know how your feedback is making a real difference, to keep the dialogue going.

By sharing your feedback, whether that’s through University surveys, the Student Research Panel, your Student Officers, SSLCs, or National Surveys, you enable us to gain insight and take action to improve your experience.

On Monday, we will launch our Student Feedback Survey. Find out more below and look out for other feedback opportunities throughout the academic year. We’ll keep you updated on how your voice shapes change. Let's keep the dialogue going.

The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES)

PRES enables us to understand your experience here at Warwick in areas such as supervision, resources, research community, progress and assessment, skills and professional development, and wellbeing. With your feedback, we can continue to enhance the overall experience for PGR students. The survey will launch in April 2023.

The Student-Staff Liaison Committee (SSLCs)

The Student-Staff Liaison Committee is made up of elected student representatives, also known as Course Reps, and members of staff, also known as Academic Convenors. The SSLC provides a space for you to have your say on your course, department, and resources.

Student Officers

Each year, you elect Student Officers to lead your Students’ Union. They then work closely with staff members to deliver a dedicated service to you, including societies, campaigns, and more. Your President, Will Brewer, has shared more below on why sharing your views is so important.

I have seen first hand how much it is appreciated, referenced and used in decision making to drive forward change across the institutions. The more we hear from you, the more powerful our representation can be. 99 quotes Aubergine

Student Research Panel

The Student Panel helps us to better understand the Warwick student experience through panel members sharing opinions in online focus groups, 1-2-1 interviews or via polls. You can sign up to the panel here. Every now and then we’ll send you an email asking you to take part in an opportunity - you’ll receive an Amazon voucher for your time or be entered into a prize draw.

Other SU student voice opportunities

Throughout the year, there are a number of other ways to have your voice heard at your SU. The SU have a Student Council where your ideas and motions are discussed and voted on, Society and Sport Club elections, Academic Representation, and much more.

Best wishes,
