Christmas volunteering opportunities

Browse through our dedicated Christmas volunteering page to find opportunities and charity events in Coventry and Warwickshire. You can apply to help the homeless, help tackle loneliness and isolation, take part in the Hospice Santa Dash, get creative with crafts, and much more...

Wellbeing: Sleep and mindfulness

This week's Wellbeing theme is sleep and mindfulness. Mindfulness is a practice which helps us to be in the present moment; it helps us to feel engaged with our physical, mental and emotional state. This practice can then help with sleep if you are struggling with a busy mind. Take a look at our self-help page on Mindfulness, and our advice for getting a better night's sleep here.

Recycling and waste over the festive season

If you're living off campus, please check collection dates for your area over the festive period. You can find collection dates in Coventry or Leamington/Warwickshire. It's especially important not to leave waste on show outside the front of your property on the wrong days as the local council may fine your household. Contact your landlord to ask them to provide bins and recycling boxes if they are missing from your property.

See more information on how waste and recycling works in your local community, and the correct way to dispose of waste.
