Hello Jemima

Happy New Year! We hope you enjoyed your winter break. Ahead of this week's usual newsletter we have some updates, information and events to share with you.

Guidance following national lockdown announcement

You'll find the latest information and FAQs on the Term 2 plans page. There's also guidance about working on campus if you're unable to conduct your research from home and therefore need to be on campus. This page includes the latest guidance for clinically extremely vulnerable members of the community.
Building access on campus

Given the reduced number of students and staff on campus during lockdown, building access has changed. As a PGR student, your University card access levels are unchanged for buildings listed as operational or partly operational.

The Library

From today there will be no individual access to the main collections, study spaces or other facilities in the Library. The Library will reintroduce the Click and Collect service. The online access to resources and services, including enquiries and support, will continue.

View full details about the study spaces available and resources you can access on the Library's website.
Funded Covid Extensions – Phase 2

Any UK Research Council or University of Warwick funded PGR student with a funding end date of 1 April – 30 September 2021 who is unable to complete a doctoral level thesis, even after making significant changes to their research project, may apply for up to three months of additional stipend and registration. Applications can be submitted online by either 31 January or 30 April 2021.
