Moodle Offline on Saturday 18 February
The main Warwick Moodle service is expected to be offline for most of the day on Saturday 18 February due to essential maintenance, including a database update. Work will commence in the early morning and is likely to take most of the day. You'll be advised of this planned work, including any further updates on timings via a warning notification on Moodle in the week before the work takes place.
On Track: Creative Planning – Write Here, Write Now
Join us in the Library Training Room (Floor 2), on Wednesday 8 February, 2pm-5pm, to revitalise your study timetable. This session will encourage you to use creativity to inform your academic practice - featuring journal decorating, planner making, allotted study time, and tea and biscuits. Sign up here.
Sensory Refresh
Reinvigorate your studies with our Sensory Refresh event on Tuesday 7 February, 2pm-4pm, in the Library Seminar Room (Floor 2). As well as coffee and snacks, there will also be a host of fun activities on offer, designed to help you explore your sensory profile. |

Wellbeing: Sleep
This week's wellbeing theme is around sleep. Good sleep is the cornerstone of wellbeing and is essential for positive physical, mental, and emotional health. When you sleep your brain consolidates your learning, so it is important for your academic work too. It is not unusual to experience disrupted sleep from time to time, particularly during times of change or increased stress. Check out our self-help resource on Sleep, and the free 'Improve Your Sleep' online course on Togetherall.
Support for part-time, mature, and commuter students
We know that part-time, mature, or commuter students can find studying at university challenging, often due to work or caring commitments. We have created a range of resources to help support you, including IT top tips from peers, an understanding wellbeing module, an emotional resilience toolkit, groupwork and academic writing support. Take a look at our project resource hub or get in touch via our website. On Tuesday 7 February, the SU are also holding a Parents, Carers, Part-Time, and Mature Students Meet and Greet, 11am-1pm, in the Kevin Gately Room in SUHQ. Tea and coffee are available.

The Student Union's Teaching and Learning Survey
Your Students' Union (SU) Vice President for Education, Chih-Hsiang Lo, has created this survey to help the SU understand student views on education-related issues. The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes, and covers areas including lecture capture, self-certification, mitigating circumstances, assessments, and study spaces. Please let us know your thoughts.
