Ukraine: One year on
One year on from the Russian invasion of Ukraine, our Vice-Chancellor has spoken of the University’s long-term commitment to supporting Ukraine and those directly impacted by the war. Watch Stuart’s video message. Students and staff at Warwick have been supporting Ukrainian people over the past year. Hear from some of those supported, and helping, about their experiences.
Wellbeing: Managing stress and anxiety
This week's wellbeing theme is around managing stress and anxiety. Some feelings of stress and anxiety are normal but if feeling stressed and anxious is getting in the way of your day-to-day functioning, then it is worth making some changes. We have lots of support for you to be able to do that. A good place to start is our Foundations of Wellbeing materials, and see our self-help pages on stress and anxiety.
Covid-19 vaccinations on campus
Not yet had your first or second Covid-19 vaccination? Now is your chance to get vaccinated at our walk-in clinic at the Student Opportunity Hub, Senate House, (Room SH0.03).
No booking is needed. You can simply turn up on Friday 24 February, Friday 3 March or Friday 10 March from 2pm to 6.30pm.
Our Formula Student team is in South Africa
Formula Student is a UK motorsport series for students, and our Warwick Racing team was the first to enter a fully electric vehicle. They are in South Africa this week, sharing expertise in electric vehicle racing and battery technology across the continent. They will help the launch of Formula Student Africa – a new motorsport competition for students, using only electric vehicles. Find out more about the team. |

The University has been given notice by Warwick District Council (WDC) to vacate the Leamington Learning Grid by 26 May 2023. See more information including details about the Public Library Service and other study spaces available on campus.
EUTOPIA Languages Week
Do you want to know more about the multilingual make-up of the modern world? Are you curious to discover how languages shape our brain, culture, and society and their relationship with creativity and evolution? EUTOPIA Languages Week consists of a variety of activities and opportunities to explore and celebrate languages, cultures, and diversity. Be part of the Warwick Education Conference
The Warwick Education Conference allows us to come together as an educational community to connect, share and inspire each other. This year’s theme is ‘Empowering students and staff through small teaching’. The in-person conference will take place on Thursday 22 June in Ramphal, and asynchronous activities will be taking place from Monday 19-Wednesday 21 June. Varsity 2023
Varsity 2023 will unite the whole University community as players and supporters get involved with one of the biggest sporting events in the Warwick calendar. Even if you do not currently participate directly in sports at Warwick, you can still be a crucial part of #TeamWarwick. As part of our annual sporting showdown with Coventry University, Warwick has been undefeated for 32 years. Play your part in helping us make that 33!
