Important updates
Current restrictions are to remain in place after Government's recent announcement
As you may have seen in the Government’s recent announcement, the current measures in UK universities will be extended to at least 8 March.
This means that online learning continues until this date (week 9) for all courses other than the MBChB, social work and initial teacher training where face to face teaching is permitted. You should remain where you are and not travel. Our safety measures on campus, which include social distancing, face coverings, enhanced cleaning and test and trace, remain in place and important for all members of our community.
We are reviewing the guidance available from Government and will give further detail as soon as possible. If you need any support, please reach out to Wellbeing Support Services, contact our student support helpline or the residential life team on campus.
Graduation ceremonies postponed until 2022
In light of ongoing uncertainty relating to coronavirus, Warwick has chosen to postpone in-person graduation ceremonies until 2022.
Although this was a difficult decision to make, ultimately the safety of the Warwick community had to take priority. Therefore, as we await a clearer picture on restrictions on public gatherings, social distancing and travel, celebrations of this year’s graduating cohort will be held virtually.
Students expected to be eligible to attend the July 2021 degree ceremonies have received an email today.
