Student Opportunity and Events
Paid summer internships in public and community engagement
Gain work experience in public and community engagement by doing a paid internship for six weeks over the summer. You'll be hosted by an organisation in the West Midlands and funded by the Warwick Institute of Engagement. Hosts will include arts and culture organisations (such as theatres, museums, and galleries) and other charities and organisations working with and empowering their local communities. Warwick Institute of Engagement 2023 Conference: Exploring the way ahead for Public Engagement at Warwick
This conference is a chance to network with people with a passion for public engagement, hear about new ideas in public engagement, and share your own expertise and insights. We're exploring themes such as collaborative working with the community, how students can get involved in Public Engagement, how to use your smartphone to film high-quality videos for engaging digitally and more! Opening times

Support
If you need any wellbeing support over the vacation, Wellbeing and Student Support (WSS) offer consultation sessions between 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday via our Wellbeing Portal or you can call WSS on 024 7657 5570. The wellbeing team is available as usual other than on bank holidays (Good Friday and Easter Monday). For out-of-hours support at any time of the day or night, visit togetherall.com. Events
If you're staying on campus or in the local area, take a break this Easter by attending a range of events hosted in the Library. We'll have our weekly Research Refresh sessions (a networking, coffee morning for postgrad researchers), as well as Creative Chillout and friendly board games sessions, welcome to all! Pop along to socialise or to take a mindful break, with free drinks and snacks. See other events on over the vacation.

Wellbeing: Relaxation
As we head towards the end of term, you may find you have more time to relax and unwind. After a really busy term, it is important to prioritise time to recover in order to replenish your resources ready for the next challenge. A good starting point is making sure that your Foundations of Wellbeing are in place. If you're struggling to relax, you may find the tips on our Relaxation page helpful. You can also look at our list of library resources specifically aimed at relaxation.
